Works, but kills processing power

I was trying this out to see whether I wanted to buy the full version, and discovered that once I started the recording going, everything slowed down and became non responsive or only sporadically responsive. I’m using MacOS X 10.9.2 (Mavericks) on a Mac Mini from around 2010 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

The weirdest part was that at the end of it all, I had a 2 minute 30 second video (even the 1m30s limitation apparently didn’t work) of pretty much nothing worthwhile. I was unable to get the video to stop recording (I had forgotten the key combination to do it and couldn’t find it within the app itself). Interestingly, the extra-long video it took didn’t even have the mandatory watermark in it… all this combined makes me think that the full version is unlikely to work properly either.

Giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because it’s possible that the problems were caused by something else entirely. What I was trying to take video of was a malfunctioning flash game to show those developers the problem I was experiencing...
